Feedback from inside Onvoro, and a round of fixes

  • Send feedback opens a panel inside the web app, with ideas, the roadmap and what's new. Onvoro sends it nothing about who you are.

  • A quote's subtotal is now the lines before any discount, and a percentage discount over 100% is refused.

  • Money fields refuse a third decimal place instead of quietly rounding it.

  • Each person's email address must be their own, whatever its capitals, which keeps their login theirs.

  • When an address search gives a suburb two different ways, the form says so instead of guessing.

  • Date pickers offer only the dates that can actually be saved, and an error clears as soon as its field is fixed.

  • A service plan refuses an unpaid break as long as the shift itself.

  • When someone leaves, every route they had to a site goes with them.

Forms that say what is wrong, and a roster that says what is true

A week of fixes from a careful pass through every screen.

  • When something cannot be saved, the reason is in plain words under the field it is about, and the form brings it into view.

  • Pickers start empty, so a shift, a job or a team member is never saved against whichever option happened to sort first.

  • Onvoro warns before a client is entered twice, by name or by ABN.

  • Onvoro refuses to put somebody on a shift or a job once their right to work has run out, and warns when none is on file.

  • Correcting a timesheet or an attendance record checks every field at once.

  • A service plan's work stays inside its contract's dates, and a new plan starts at its site's opening hours.

Pay for rostered hours, and leave unpaid breaks out

How much a shift pays is now yours to set, site by site.

  • A site can pay the hours somebody was signed in for, or the hours they were rostered for. A service plan can set its own, and its page says where its answer came from.

  • Set your break policy once and unpaid meal breaks come off the hours automatically. A plan can have its own, and changing it carries onto the shifts already rostered.

  • Extra time a supervisor adds to a shift stays put when the attendance behind it is corrected.

Quote templates

If most of your quotes start the same way, you no longer have to write them from scratch.

  • Start a new quote from a template, or save a quote you are happy with as one.

  • A sent quote remembers exactly who it went to, even if the client's contacts change later.

  • Cancelling a quote stops its link opening for the client.

Pay contractors and subcontractors through Onvoro

Some of the people on your roster are not employees. Onvoro now knows the difference.

  • Record that a person is paid through a contractor, with the contractor's ABN, whether they charge GST, and how often they bill you. They stay off payroll.

  • Onvoro draws each contractor's bill for every period of their billing cycle, from the hours you approved.

  • A subcontractor can have their own login and read their own statement, so they can check a bill before it is paid.

Onvoro now works with Xero

Connect your business's Xero organisation from Integrations, and the money side of Onvoro flows into it.

  • Issued invoices go to Xero, and voiding one in Onvoro voids it there too.

  • Payments and voids are read back from Xero every fifteen minutes, so an invoice shows as paid without anyone copying it across.

  • Approved hours go to Xero Payroll a pay period at a time. People paid through a contractor are kept out of payroll.

  • Contractor bills go to Xero as drafts, with their number and a due date, and show as paid once they are paid in Xero.
